When 2020 started, I never thought about making a study for men on overcoming lust and pornography. I also didn’t have a plan on reading through the book of Psalms at the time I did and discover Psalm 51. I didn’t plan on talking to Lillian, my wife, about this Psalm and hear her say that I needed to make a study for men on lust and pornography.

But, that’s exactly what I did. I might have had my own plans for 2020 (as all of us did, right?) but God had a bigger and better plan. So I followed His leading and promptings and just did something. I took a risk, a step of faith, and stepped forward into something a bit unnerving.

I hope and pray that you would take this same step to open up and be vulnerable – with God, yourself, and others. Maybe you’re not sure if this study is something you want or even should do. But if you’re already here, I’m willing to bet it’s not by chance. I would encourage you to take the first step and trust God through the process.

Now you have a choice to make. Why not move forward and see what happens?
